LOCATION: Primarily Remote with possible in office (Cambridge Ma) meetings as project requires. No more than two (2) times monthly. Travel expenses not included in budget.

Position Summary

  • The Business Analyst II will include support, system administration, reporting, maintaining data integrity and enforcing company policies. In addition this position will require the management of key contract management operations projects. These projects will require the analysis and design of existing and new business processes that span multiple areas of the organization, including Customer Operations, R&D, Medical, Access Management, Legal, and Master Data Management
  • An ideal candidate should have strong business communication skills, worked on large global projects and be comfortable working with varying business processes and integrated systems. The ability to learn new processes and systems quickly is critical to success in this role. Any contracting or procurement experience with a pharma/ biotechnology company is a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess areas of risks and consequence on the organization in pursuing a project
  • Identification and resolution of cross-project conflicts and optimization opportunities in the areas of business process, technology, and deployment strategies
  • Analyze data and develop reporting in key systems
  • Manage testing environment requests to include test accounts and required test data
  • Demonstrate high quality oral and written communication
  • Analyzing the current state business processes and defining the future state processes
  • Participate in the mapping and transformation of legacy data
  • Help identify and document new test scenarios and work with business on User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Support the analysis of internal information technology capacity, and business processes to suggest improvements, propose automation, and streamline business intelligence and decision processes
  • Support Change controls within our methodologies
  • Experience and Qualifications
  • Proven experience with project management
  • Ability to learn and apply new skills quickly
  • Knowledge of contracting process within a pharma/biotech environment
  • Experience working on large global projects
  • Familiarity of Pharma/ Biotech industry
  • Detail oriented and recognized for attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Team player with a positive attitude and ability to hit the ground running

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; concentration in business, IT, or communications preferred

  • Perform other job-related duties as necessary or assigned to assist Global Procurement Strategy, Operations & Analytics group
