Job Description:
- This position is to provide support to cabin electrical, IFE, and WIFI systems. Support repair and alterations of the cabin electrical systems via EO or EA.
- Working with other engineering teams, create or revise task cards, AMM, IPC, AWDM, and CMMs for cabin electrical systems.
- Investigate and develop fixes for reliability items on cabin electrical systems.
- Work with suppliers and OEMs to develop alterations to existing systems, including possible removal and replacement of a system or component to support ongoing efforts.
- Support line operations by review of daily out-of-service aircraft or degraded systems and provide technical support.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering; Electrical Engineering preferred. Ten or more years of experience in aircraft In-Flight Entertainment, WiFi, or aircraft cabin electrical systems. Familiarity with regulatory requirements and AA engineering practices preferred. Must have good interpersonal skills, work well with others in a group, and be self-motivated and able to prioritize workload and multiple high-priority items.
