Analytical Chemist – Lab Technician

Duration:  12 Months

Pay Rate: 50-55/HR. on W2

• Experience in wet chemistry lab protocols
• Prepare and handle samples, which may include extraction, purification, and sample derivatization as necessary.
• Maintain and troubleshoot analytical chem equipment, especially MS ensuring it operates within specifications, and coordinate with instrument service providers when necessary.
• Conduct MS experiments, acquire and process data, and perform data analysis to provide meaningful results for the optimization and control of manufacturing process.
• Maintain detailed records of experiments, methods, and results in accordance with industry standards and company requirements.
• Adhere to laboratory safety protocols and ensure EHS compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, Product engineering teams, researchers, and project managers to provide analytical support

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's or Master in Organic Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related field.
• Proven experience with MS instrumentation and method development.
• Strong understanding of chromatography and mass spectrometry principles.
• Proficiency in data analysis and interpretation using software such as Mass Spectrometry Data Analysis tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Basic knowledge of polymers and electrodeposition process is a plus.
