Application Support System Analyst
Duration: 6 Months
6 months contract with potential to convert to FTE. Minimum 2 days a week onsite (manager's discretion). Interviews will be virtual and onsite.
Top 3 to 5 skillsets / years of experience:
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot applications and document them 2+
• SQL 2+
• Episys or core system 2+
• Jack Henry products 2+
• On-line banking 2+
Responsible for maintaining and supporting all Credit Union business applications and technical tools and utilities needed to support these applications including software, interfaces, networking and connectivity, databases, etc.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, management information systems or related field, or four years of equivalent technical experience
• Strong knowledge of the financial services industry, and credit union’s departments, products and systems
• Extensive technical skills related to software applications
• Proficiency and practical experience with Episys financial application, SQL, Microsoft Operating Systems and tools, AIX and PowerOn programming.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with database and programming fundamentals, networking technologies, hardware components, and interfaces and middleware
• Experience with Java, HTML, .Net, web services, Netapp SAN, IBM hardware, VMWare, Cisco networking, and Citrix
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency to multi-task, plan, schedule, and organize
• Ability to work well under stress, manages competing priorities, and meets deadlines
• Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach with a focus on continuous improvement, user satisfaction, and adherence to standards
