Benefits Consultant II

Job Overview:

This colleague will identify solutions to program issues, incorporating administrative, employee relations, and financial considerations, and make proactive recommendations for improvement to Benefits Strategy leadership. This position requires the ability to execute and deliver results independently with minimal guidance and requires the proactive learning of our business and the building of internal relationships to enhance solutions. This position supports the Executive Director, HR Benefits Strategy and participates in the Benefits COE. This colleague will be able to handle multiple priorities, have strong project management skills, and benefits experience.

Experience:

  • Looking for a minimum 5 years of exp, quick learner - needs to be able to get up to speed quickly.
  • Supporting the strategy design and development of Health, Welfare or Well-being plans and programs for colleagues and retirees, as assigned.
  • Support benchmarking, data collection and analysis in support of benefit plan/program design.
  • Support the implementation and administration of assigned benefits.
  • Provide analytical input and resolves sensitive colleague issues that arise from plan design questions, claim issues, etc., and work through to resolution with administrative/vendor partners and colleague.
  • Union benefit strategy oversight and avoidance support, working closely with internal labor relations colleagues to keep informed and up to speed on any new offerings/programs.

Professional Qualification: Required

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Project Management Experience.
  • Benefits Experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities at a time.
  • Union Experience preferred - if they are used to working with union contracts that would be a big plus.

Experience Required: 02-03 Years.

Shift: M-F 8:30-5, Onsite Tues to Thursday
