Business Analyst

Contract: 12 Months+

Pay Rate - $70/Hr on w2.

Central Business Operations is seeking a Business Analyst who will structure and perform analysis to draw actionable insights that inform and support strategic decision-making. This position will work on high visibility strategic projects for key Business Operations initiatives, to support, improve, and optimize programs, data analysis, reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Combine disparate data sources, transform, analyze, and communicate recommendations
  • Analyze pricing data and quoting activity through scenario modeling to project impact of adjustments to pricing models
  • Audit and maintain processes to ensure the accuracy of data quality within the pricing system and framework
  • Evaluate impact and document business cases for feature enhancements from gathering requirements from stakeholders through UAT – testing plans, scenarios, scripts
  • Continuously evaluate pricing model performance, identify opportunities for improvements and tune system parameters to achieve desired outputs aligned with organizational goals
  • Identify and implement recommendations for continuous process and system improvements, including ways to automate analysis, tools, and reports
  • Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards with prescriptive analytics that support strategic decision making for technical and non-technical managers
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies and profitability projects through complex analysis

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Engineering or Finance/Business and a minimum 5 years of experience
  • High proficiency in SQL, Python or R, Power BI, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Experience working with large data sets, data preparation and data management techniques
  • Advanced data analysis and modeling skills with a strong inclination for creative problem solving
  • Comfortable working on fluid, dynamic and ambiguous projects, where tasks become clearer as the project progresses
  • Ability to think strategically and link smaller details to the broader strategic picture
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear, concise manner that is tailored for the appropriate audience
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with teams across different regions and functions
  • Pricing related experience preferred
