Buyer I

Duration: 4 Months

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and material management systems
• Provides support to Project Northeast teams as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Determining material requirements between manufacturing sites using MRP system.
• Generating internal sales orders, move orders between sites.
• Coordinating with Procurement, Stock room, and logistics department on transfer of material between sites.
• Creation and modifications of PO at the discretion of Senior level Buyers.

Ideally, we are looking for someone with:

• College degree and or 5 years of experience in purchasing/buyer role
• Working knowledge of Oracle ERP and MRP preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Quick decision making and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of BOM’s, routings and or recipes and work centers

SHIFT HOURS: 8-5
