Certified Medical Coders - Outpnt & ED

Duration: 3 Months

Pay Rate: $38.40/hr on w2.

REQUISITE & PREFERRED SKILLS:

Experience in a healthcare setting; knowledge of community agencies and resources

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Medical coding in an acute care setting; must possess proficient computer skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, ICD 9 CM, CPT 4, Encoder)
• knowledge of coding guidelines
• payor guidelines
• federal billing guidelines
• knowledge of anatomy, physiology & disease processes
• ability to research coding related issues.
• competence in coder training
• must have CCS and knowledgeable with 3M/HDS coding application.
• Outpatient and ED experience.

Qualifications:

• Three years experience Knowledge of ICD10
• High School Diploma/GED, AHIMA, RHIA or RHIT and/or CCP, CCS

Responsibilities: Required Working as per post

Experience Required: 3+ Year experience.
