Content Publisher (Work from home)

Duration: 3 Months (Contract to Hire) 

  • Schedule: up to 30 hours of work a week once ramped up, nontraditional work hours allowed as this is a task-oriented position
  • Engagement will be extended if resources work out.
  • Position is 100% remote, non-local candidates will be considered.
  • The resource will be page building for client’s website’s redesign project. 
  • Must have content management system experience (preferably in Drupal, but other content management system experience is fine)

Job Summary:

This role executes and oversees content updates and optimizes and uploads documents within content management systems.

Essential Functions

• Execute routine content updates including online text, images, and media

• Support content development and review and approve content changes

• Optimize, upload, and manage documents using content management systems

• Analyze, audit, and edit content to ensure conformity to standards including compliance, disclosure, formatting, brand and editorial guidelines

• Set content guidelines and standard operating procedures

• Research and coordinate related information and data

• Develop and track metrics related to content use and management

• Identify areas for content enhancement and create related improvement plans

• Guide subject matter experts in content writing and related materials / activities

Skills

  • Intermediate proficiency in content management systems
  • Intermediate knowledge of web writing and usability best practices
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to convey complex or technical information in an easy-to-understand manner.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing / Communication or related field
  • Required Experience:
  • At least three years related experience.
