• REQUIRED at the time of submission:
• Min 2yrs of ACUTE Cytologst exp in high complexity testing
• bachelor’s in science or equivalent
• ASCP - Cytotechnologist - ASCP.org
• Must obtain Annual Membership (Current) with Certification agency

Job Description:

Full description available upon request The Cytologist is responsible for a full range of procedures including the cyto-diagnosis under specified criteria of benign and malignant conditions as seen in sputum; respiratory, gastrointestinal and urinary tract washings and brushings; urine, body fluids, and cerebrospinal fluids; uterine, cervical, and vaginal smears; needle aspirations; tumor and tissue imprints. Identifies all unusual findings such as the presence of bacteria, fungi, viruses, yeast, parasites, and changes secondary to therapy, nutritional disorders, etc.
