Data Analyst - II

Duration :  06 Months +

Pay range :  $44-48/HR on W2

Hybrid - must work onsite every Tuesday; possibly more days in the future

Candidate must attend an Excel exam and will mention test score on resume for consideration: 80% min

The Data Analyst will be responsible for supporting the Sales Incentives team within the Sales and Marketing Group by offloading, perfecting, and performing scheduled as well as ad-hoc tasks.

We are looking for a highly motivated Data Analyst to join the Sales Incentives team in BCSE (Brand, Customer & Sales Experience). As a Data Analyst you will be a hands-on analyst with responsibility for fully supporting our commissions functions with detailed analysis and administration. You will have a wide range of responsibilities including strategizing with a cross functional team on providing detailed commissions analysis, data cleaning, transformation & associated documentation, report design & data visualization.

The position works in a fast-moving exciting environment delivering critical commission and incentive administration to SMG sales teams.

As a Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Perform adhoc analysis to facilitate executive decision making and progress special projects.
  • Data cleaning to progress larger reporting & data visualization projects.
  • BI report creation & maintenance.
  • Documenting data transformation steps.
  • Assist in sales commission reporting summary to management including maintaining key performance indicators to measure and track performance.
  • Understand and apply the commissions’ plans, logic & calculations in all applicable work.
  • Administration of commissions in ‘Callidus’, an incentive compensation management tool.
  • Cross train with other team members to serve as a backup for certain functions.
  • Maintain processes and procedures to support accurate and timely sales commissions reporting to both managers and plan participants.

  • Ability to analyze significant amounts of data and derive value and understanding to the business
  • Strong attention to detail, organization and prioritization skills
  • Familiar with data cleansing and data normalization techniques
  • Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional / non-functional business requirements
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel & preferably other industry standard BI tools (Power BI, Tableau or equivalent)
  • Self-driven and skills to deliver on ambiguous projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate complex analytical and technical concepts with clarity, both written and oral.
  • Ability to collaborate, support, and influence across functional areas (e.g. HR, Comp & Ben, Legal, Finance and Sales.)
  • Excellent problem diagnosis skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, written communication, and presentation skills.
  • Team player with a track record of executing cross group/complex initiatives
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • BA/BS Degree (not required) or equivalent in Finance or Business Management
  • 5+ years of Finance, Business Planning or Operations Experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Excel & BI tool skills - Advanced
  • Strong data analysis skills
  • 1+ years of experience with compensation software, preferred (e.g. Callidus, etc.)
  • 1+ years of working with Sales Professionals
  • 3+ years of data analysis experience
  • 3+ years of experience and understanding of sales incentive programs, processes, and procedures
