Data Scientist II

Duration :  12 Months +

The main function of the Data Scientist is to produce innovative solutions driven by exploratory data analysis from complex and high-dimensional datasets.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Apply knowledge of statistics to large and distributed data sets to recognize patterns and drive conclusions for developing novel AR display products. The data sets are from different semiconductor processing equipment, optical process equipment & a variety of electrical test and characterization
  • Organize images from different phases of display development into reports/dashboard for understanding line yield and performance.
  • Generate and test hypotheses and analyze and interpret the results of experiments and DOE's.
  • Provide data visualization support and simple dashboard generation for ad-hoc requests requiring data analysis and visual support.
  • Candidates with image processing and analysis experience would be preferred but not required.

SKILLS:

  • Experienced in either programming languages such as Python and/or R or data visualization tools such as Tableau.
  • The ability to communicate effectively in writing, including conveying complex information and promoting in-depth engagement on course topics.
  • Creating automated PowerPoint reports from large data sets and images.
  • Statistical analysis with JMP or similar software
  • Experience working with large datasets.

TOP 3 NON-NEGOTIABLE SKILLS:

  • Python data manipulation and plotting
  • Handing large data files
  • Ability create automated templates or dashboard

GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS:

  • Candidates with image processing and analysis experience would be preferred but not required.

EDUCATION:

  • Master of Science degree in Mathematics, computer science, physics, materials science , electrical Engineering, Electronics engineering or in a relevant field.
