Database Administrator II

Duration: 6 Months

  • This position will specialize in cleanup of the eTrack and eTrack+ systems, working with PMs and Implementors, to ensure we are utilizing the product to full scope and easing burden of current employees. Will extend contract as needed for productive work and program budgets allow.
  • This position will be responsible for ensuring our database vendor is delivering contractually obligated deliverables, working with program mangers to ensure accuracy of data and ease of data transfer, as well as accurate reporting. Experience working with internal and external resources, and maintaining/building databases a must. Understanding of Energy Efficiency data and/or experience with eTrack/eTrack+ system a plus.

Team Structure

a.            What are this teams core accountabilities?

b.            What is the team size and function?         Currently reporting to Sr. Manager, subject to change. Overall team is accountable to implement Energy Efficiency programs and provide accurate data in regulatory reports to various jurisdictions. This role would be focused on supporting PMs with accurate data and systems to ease the reporting burdens of the team in various jurisdictions.

Describe the current/future projects resource would support       This position will be responsible for ensuring our database vendor is delivering contractually obligated deliverables, working with program managers to ensure accuracy of data and ease of data transfer, as well as accurate reporting. Experience working with internal and external resources and maintaining/building databases a must. Understanding of Energy Efficiency data and/or experience with eTrack/eTrack+ system a plus. May also assist with developing in-house data solutions and/or transition of systems to support new cycles of Energy Efficiency/Electrification Programs.

Describe the day-to-day responsibilities resource would support

a.         Any additional expectations/accountabilities that would be placed on this resource?            Coordinate with Implementation vendors and PMs to understand the incoming data requirements.

Work with database vendor to communicate PHI needs and ensure vendor is complying with contractual obligations.

Develop notes and reports for management to suggest changes in database, assist with vendor negotiations, contract management, etc.
