Embedded Software Engineer III

Duration : 12 Months +

Pay range :  $80-85/HR on W2

Building new software, extending existing platforms, crafting automations, orchestrating data pipelines, integrating APIs, and creating reporting solutions.

• Develop dashboards, web applications, and workflows for projects utilizing common programming languages/tools such as, but not limited to, Panel, Python, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Java, C# using Jupyter Lab, Jupyter Notebook, PyCharm, or Visual Studio Code environment.

• Extensive knowledge about mobile app development. This includes the whole process, from the first line of code to publishing.

• Familiarity with the JSON format

• Understanding mobile app design guidelines on each platform and being aware of their differences • Evaluating existing applications and adding new features, reprogramming them or completing updates • Work on implementing automated certification, functional, and compatibility testing.

• Work on root-cause issues reported by QA and customer feedback.

• Provide support to QA, manufacturing, and other software teams.

• Help scope and prioritize new technical initiatives based on their impact to the organization and the candidates we support • Collaborate with other members of the tech team through design and code review, sprint planning/retrospectives, and team professional development

Minimum Qualifications:

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Degree must be completed prior to joining.

• Experience in embedded software development for consumer electronic products.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience in tech companies providing engineering services.

• Deep experience in one or more of the following: App development & Automation.

• Additionally to these, experience with the certification and documentation processes.
