Job Description:

  • The role integrates HR generalist/HR Business Partner experience with strategic execution to inform strategy development for culture and employee engagement initiatives.  This role works with departmental leadership to develop, manage and execute project plans that align with the strategic goals of the organization, with a focus on process improvement and change management.
  • Leads the execution and operational management of one or more programs. Responsible for identifying trends and making recommendations for program enhancements. Manages program changes and overall administration through collaboration with other staff and/or Human Resources Business Partners. Manages relationships with vendors. Monitor, assess, evaluate and report on metrics of program(s) managed.
  • Managing the governance, process changes and overall administration through collaboration with Human Resources Business Partners to meaningfully integrate throughout the enterprise.  The role requires the ability to prioritize, think strategically, and to influence without authority. The incumbent must possess business acumen and knowledge of operations in order to anticipate challenges and prepare appropriate solutions based on unique department needs.

 Qualifications:

  • Required Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • SHRM certification and PMP Certification (Preferred)

Responsibilities:

  • Drives the Engagement process from beginning to end
  • Serves as functional subject matter expert
  • Partners with vendor, business partner and leadership to confirm standard and custom question considerations
  • Organizes and coordinates in partnership with Business Partner team a well thought through mapping process
  • Accountable for a communication strategy that drives participation
  • Stays connected to best practices on engagement and action planning with stakeholder input communicate and executes strategy
  • Serves as point of contact for employee engagement vendor needs
  • Ensures effective and efficient governance processes, including setting the annual engagement calendar.
  • Leads all aspects of program administration (e.g., development of annual report, website, communications, etc)
  • Leads all aspects of project administration (identification, initiation and planning, execution, and closure)
  • Conduct benchmarking to identify best-in-class employee engagement, and workforce management approaches, programs, processes, and tools.
  • Partner with internal service organizations, including Business Partner Services, Strategic Talent Management & Learning, Center for Quality Improvement (CQI), Office of Safety and Medical Operations (OSMO), and others to identify learning and performance opportunities; and, link program outcomes to key enterprise drivers (e.g. patient safety, clinical outcomes, employee turnover, etc.).
  • Project manages the survey process and implementation of employee engagement action planning strategies for the business partner team and organization.
  • Create and execute process and project plan for survey process
  • Acts as a consultant to business partner and department leaders in delivering HR recommendations that support desired culture.
  • Provides enterprise level metrics and reports and with support of HR leadership analyzes data and shares trends.
  • Delivers and assists in providing ad-hoc data trend report requests from business partner.
  • Assesses trends in survey to identify and connect themes. Presents themes to HR leadership to support determination of service delivery prioritization in training, interventions or process/policy changes.

Experience Required:

• At least seven (7) years in related professional experience.

• Three (3) years of project or program management, quality, or process improvement

Preferred Experience:

  • Five (5) years of project management, quality or process improvement experience.
  • Previous Data Analytics experience
  • Previous experience in a healthcare or research related environment 
  • Experience as an HR Business Partner preferred.
