Federal Procurement Administrator (100% Work from home)

12 Months + High possibility of extension

Provide cradle-to-grave subcontract administration under a federal government prime contract.
• Develop and produce subcontract documentation such as cost/price analyses, negotiation memoranda, justifications, determinations, representations, certifications, and correspondence.
• Provide interpretation, guidance, and risk assessment to management on matters of contractual nature.
• Assist in evaluating proposals and quotations, determining offer responsiveness, responsibility, and eligibility for award, and provide support for discussions and negotiations.
• Track subcontractor costs.
• Research and resolve subcontract issues, disputes, terms/conditions, etc.
• Administer subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Review and approve subcontractor invoices.
• Maintain subcontract organized files and tracking spreadsheets and logs.
• Implement company purchasing system policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with the FAR and internal subcontracting policies.
• Close out expired subcontracts.
Qualifications and Skills:
• BA/BS required, with a minimum of 5 years of experience administering federal contracts.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Experience with multiple US Government contract types, including fixed-price, time and material, and cost reimbursable, as well as commercial subcontracting.
• Working knowledge of the FAR, DFARS and agency supplements.
• Basic understanding of cost accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint and Adobe.
• Thorough knowledge of government subcontract management principles.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work within a dynamic environment with varying seniority levels, including internal staff and managers, as well as external partners.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage a robust contract portfolio of various size, scope, and complexity.
• Experience in a high-volume subcontract administration environment. 

Must Have Skills:

  • BA in a business discipline. 5 to 7 years in a Federal Procurement environment (Prime or Subcontracts) .
  • MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel,) , ERP Experience SAP, CLM + etc. CPSR experience. FAR experience.
  • Solid understanding of Federal Procurement File Management.
