Field Engineer

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

• Perform substation visits (50% of the time) to support maintenance activities or to perform substation walk-downs (equipment inspections).  Create follow up corrective maintenance work orders, initiate equipment replacements, review substation inspection data, order non-stock material for corrective maintenance activities.
• Understanding of substation equipment and operations
• 5 years utility experience with a minimum of 3 years in substations
• B.S. Engineering
• Electrical theory and substation equipment/All MS Office products, Cascade, Asset Suite 8 (Passport)
• Substation engineering, maintenance, or operations
• Ability to work well with other stakeholders (Work Management, Electric Maintenance, System Operations, Substation Engineering); must be mobile (ipad provided for field use)
