Job Description:

  • The Senior Financial Analyst will be an innovative and energetic individual that will form an integral part of the Pennsylvania Finance team.
  • The scope of responsibilities includes reviewing and supporting the monthly accounting close process, annual budget, and quarterly forecast, as well as complete/manage quarterly State Reporting.

The scope of responsibilities includes reviewing and supporting the monthly accounting close process, annual budget, and quarterly forecast, as well as complete/manage quarterly State Reporting.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all analysis and reporting of financial information on both a GAAP and regulatory basis to support both management decisions making and/or communication to internal or external stakeholders and/or regulatory constituents, as well as the setting and maintaining of accounting and internal control related policies.
  • Verify financial records and transactions.
  • Ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all reporting/ accounting tasks.
  • Proactively implement change so as to create efficiencies and improve processes.
  • Prepare, support and review State Reporting and requirements for annual, quarterly, and monthly reporting.
  • Oversight of journal entries and account reconciliations provided by Central Accounting for accuracy.
  • Data mining and analysis using SQL.
  • Conduct accurate and timely financial analysis.
  • Support or prepare Annual and periodic forecasting process.
  • Minimum loss ratio reporting and analysis
  • Revenue maximization analysis and reporting
  • Support annual Financial, Statutory and Compliance audit.
  • Ad-hoc reporting and analysis as needed.

 

Shift:

  • Mon-Fri - 9am – 6pm.
