Financial Analyst III

- Work schedule/hours: 40 hrs/wk (9AM-4PM ET are core hours)
- What are the travel requirements? (frequency, duration, locations): No travel
- Willing to consider non-local candidates, or do you want to consider local candidates only: Per Manager – “Strong preference to somewhat local. Job is remote but some in person time encouraged.”
- If non-local, is Mgr willing to pay per diem/expenses, mobilization/de-mobilization, fully loaded rate: No per diem
- Team function: Team executes line of business substation, transmission line and civil projects. The projects generally range from $250k-$5M. The financial analysts will help our PMs track cost, forecast, enter accruals, close projects etc.
- Size/structure: Team size is 15 people currently
- Culture (fast paced, individual/collaborative, etc.): Will be supporting 20 - 30 projects/month; would be scheduling meetings with PMs to review costs, forecast costs, enter data that the analysts is tracking, create CR/CPA/CCR, etc.
What are the top technologies/skills needed/Required:
- Intermediate level Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel)
- Finance/accounting experience
- Experience working/tracking capital projects
Pluses:
- Understanding of construction/utility industry
- How many years of experience are desired: 4 years’ minimum of experience
- What Education/Certifications is required: Bachelor’s or Equivalent
- Are there any preferred industries the candidate should come from: Utility would be nice preference, but not required – manager is open to other industries of experience
