Hardware Engineer IV
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Rate: 100-105/HR. on W2
- Our team is seeking for a senior wireless charging system integration engineer that help integrate Qi wireless charging technology or NFC wireless charging technology into products in the partnership with multiple discipline teams.
- The main focus will be on Magnetic simulation and EE circuit simulation, such as Maxwell, and Simulink, but also need one or multiple skills, such as wireless charging system architecture, magnetic simulation with Ansys, EE simulation with Simulink and LTSPICE, silicon and FW operation, Qi certification; Need to work with one or multiple teams, such as manufacturing, testing, validation, Software team, DFM, safety, thermal, reliability, operations , regulatory teams, noise and vibration, and more.
Key Qualifications:
- 4+ years working experience of wireless charging system or RF background, Has academic background in Electromagnetic theory and coupling mechanisms, Hands-on experience in Electromagnetic simulation tools, such as Ansys Maxwell and HFSS, or COMSOL
- 5+ years of EE system design and simulation: MATLAB/Simulink, LTSPICE, SIMETRIX/SIMPLIS, Cadence, .....
- Bench work: Network analyzers (VNAs),Impedance Analyzer, Python, Oscilloscope, Multi-meters, Function Generators, LabVIEW, etc.
- Some experience in power management and battery charging system, such as USB charging, battery charger, Gas-Gauge, PMIC, buck, boost, LDO, LED driver.
Top Must Haves:
- Wireless charging Electromagnetic simulation tools, such as Ansys Maxwell and HFSS, or COMSOL.
- EE system design and simulation: MATLAB/Simulink, LTSPICE, or SIMETRIX/SIMPLIS, or Cadence.
