Hardware Engineer

Contract: 12 Months+

This individual will be responsible for smart glass module bring-up/ characterization/ validation. This engineer will develop test systems to enable rapid evaluation and testing of sub-systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Characterize and validate display, camera, audio, sensors - imu, touch, proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, Inertial measurement unit for smart wearables.
• Optimize module performance based on validation result
• Documenting and presenting test results to engineering teams
• Working with cross-functional teams to assure that sufficient and accurate testing is implemented

Skills:

• Programming skills to develop software/firmware/scripts for validation, characterization, and prototyping (e.g. Python)
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g. MATLAB, R etc.)
• Experience with firmware development (C/C++) is a plus
• Knowledge in I2C/SMBus, UART, SPI, USB, Network stack is a plus
• Ability to read schematics
• Experience with code management tools like Git
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required
