- As the new technology investigation team, we take risks and challenges more than all other teams. We welcome candidates who have shipped and appreciate high quality product/technologies, while also like to challenge the status quo and their own skills to the next level.
- Work on industry leading XR products is about to ship.
- Opportunity to shape and enable future XR roadmaps.
- This role is for do-ers.
- A lot of opportunities to build early prototypes while we also do a lot of joint development with our partners.
- Review and approve plan layout, including creating new designs and modifications of existing designs.
- Review and approve product prototypes, working models or theoretical models constructed with computer simulation.
- Write detailed functional specifications and design flow/tradeoff.
- Support new technology introduction.
- Act as a subject matter expert to engineering staff and consult specifications to evaluate interface between hardware and software and operational and performance requirements of overall system.
- Provide training and support to system designers and users.
- Design and develop hardware and support peripherals, including system-on-chip (SoC), support logic, microprocessors, custom integrated circuits, and system interconnection.
- Direct technicians, engineering designers or other technical support personnel as needed.
- Candidates will be evaluated based on their deliverables in hardware design and prototype builds, as well as documentation and communications with cross-functional teams.
