Implementation Engineer

Contract: 12 Months+

• It this role you will apply your ASIC design skills to support RTL and physical design development of AMD IPs.
• You will utilize scripts and CAD methodologies to analyze RTL design quality metrics.
• You will also solve issues relating to electrical and physical verification of on-chip hardware.
• Candidate will support constraint development, perform extensive timing, and noise analysis using Primetime.
• A candidate for this position should have a background that includes standard cell-based design in both a custom design environment as well as a synthesis environment.

Experience and Education:

• 5-7 years of experience in VLSI design of microprocessors, microcontrollers, DSPs or High-Speed ASIC
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related discipline
• Background in scripting and design automation
• Skilled with manual logic implementation and optimization
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Standard Cell-based design and custom integration environment.
• Synthesis environment using industry standard tools such as Design Compiler and IC compiler.
• Experience using static timing tools such Primetime.
• Experience with Noise analysis
• Able to develop and analyze high quality STA constraints.
