Interventional Radiology Technologist

Duration: 3 months+

Pay Rate: $66/hr on W2

Certifications:

  • BLS
  • ARRT

Summary:

Operates radiologic equipment to obtain diagnostic radiographs, and assists on a technical level during invasive procedures. Ensures that all aspects of patients' records are processed properly to initiate procedure results in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

Formal Education Required:

  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Current license to practice the art of Radiologic Technology in the State of Ohio
  • Certification by the ARRT in Vascular Interventional Radiography a plus but not required.

Experience & Training Required:

  • Two (2) year experience as a working Tech is required,
  • Must be proficient in the performance of basic special procedures in approximately three (3) months.

  • Sedentary: Exerts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
  • Requires standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.
