IV or Intravenous (IV) Technician

Duration: 06+ Months

Performs compounding and any other tasks as required that relate to the dispensing of infusion therapy or as assigned.

• 6 months of compounding experience or 1 -2 years of technician experience
• Some pharmacy experience Minimum of one-year previous hospital or home infusion

Skills: Must Have:

• Pharmacy Technician License for WA required.

Experience:    

• Adhere to all pertinent local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Perform sanitation and maintenance of the cleanroom area. Perform sanitation, maintenance, and tracking of infusion equipment. Perform pharmaceutical infusion compounding activities. Participate in pharmacy quality control and performance improvement activities.
• Perform pharmacy inventory control. Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
• Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by location.

Professional Qualification: Required

Experience Required: 00-06 Months.

Shift: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM (8-hour shift)
