Java Architect

Job Description:
The activities will primarily consist of:
- Cross-functional workshops led by the core team and SIs and informed by business team SMEs and key IS&T stakeholders.
- Iterative 'playback' sessions and design review meetings to validate the solution design; Change impact analyses; and
- Implementation readiness and mobilization. Required inputs to the solution design workshops include:
- Taxonomy of key terms and acronyms; Prioritized Functional and Non-Functional Requirements database.
- Knowledge base of prior Business Process Improvement (BPI), Enterprise Product Data Management (EPDM), Operations Ecosystem Assessment (OEA), Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Change Impact Assessment (CIA) activities.
- 'As Is' process documentation (as available); Draft Business Requirements Documents (BRD); and
- Workshop preparation and discussion/decision framework materials.
Required outputs from the solution design phase activities include:
- Configuration Log, including a data security (roles/privileges) model.
- Functional Requirements Documents (FRD) for PLM and integrated PIM/Data Hub.
- Solution delivery and user deployment approach and timeline.
- Technical Specifications.
- Integrations strategy and plan.
- Data Migration strategy and plan.
- IT and Performance Test strategy and plan.
- Requirements traceability matrix.
- User Acceptance testing strategy and plan.
- Change Impact Analyses (People, Process, and Technical).
