Lab Tech

Duration: Permanent

  • Ensure the equipment is in good working condition and operates safely.
  • Accountable for, new inflow, Maintain, repair, calibrate and upgrade lab equipment.
  • Maintains inventory records of supplies, materials, and equipment, and prepares periodic inventory reports and requisitions as needed.
  • Ensure availability, Issues, and receives materials and equipment for stakeholders keeps records and effects the return of supplies and equipment checked out to stakeholders.
  • Working with Vendors for upkeep and availability of the equipment for the stake holders
  • Conducts physical inventory tracking.
  • Executing audits / services / maintenance of Lab equipment and Infrastructure

Technical:

  • Previous experience in managing Labs which contains both Electronics and Mechanical Equipment
  • Familiarity of electronic component parts, common test equipment, supplies, and hand tools used in lab work.
  • Working in dynamic requirements space to cater across stakeholders, Flexibility in working across the lab responsibilities.
  • Safety standards related to the preparation of materials and use of lab equipment.
  • Ensure compliance to EHS and OSHA standards, participate in audits.
  • Knowledge of Electromechanical systems, software, and hardware
  • Inventory tracking and recordkeeping procedures
  • Familiar procedures of Maintaining Labs such as Equipment Life cycle management
