Lab Technician

Duration - 12 Month+

The Role:

General Lab Support for Client Notebook and Desktop products

The Person:

A candidate with a passion for technology and computers, with strong verbal and communicative skills, and excels in a team/lab environment. Hands-on skills in building & debugging Client PC systems, execution of manual and automated testing, with good lab organizational & housekeeping skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain lab space, test racks, infrastructure, & test equipment.
  • Update and maintain Inventory SOR.
  • Soldering.
  • Support engineers with automated and manual test execution on multiple platforms
  • Support root cause failure analysis with software and hardware debugging utilities/tools.
  • Build, Configure, Support, and Troubleshoot lab systems, both hardware and software.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Preferred Experience:

  • Level 2 or better at soldering.
  • Inventory SOR knowledge.
  • Basic electronics knowledge.
  • Basic Microsoft product experience.
  • PC build knowledge.
  • Basic shooting skills.

Education:

BA Degree
