Lab Technician
Duration - 12 Month+
The Role:
General Lab Support for Client Notebook and Desktop products
The Person:
A candidate with a passion for technology and computers, with strong verbal and communicative skills, and excels in a team/lab environment. Hands-on skills in building & debugging Client PC systems, execution of manual and automated testing, with good lab organizational & housekeeping skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain lab space, test racks, infrastructure, & test equipment.
- Update and maintain Inventory SOR.
- Soldering.
- Support engineers with automated and manual test execution on multiple platforms
- Support root cause failure analysis with software and hardware debugging utilities/tools.
- Build, Configure, Support, and Troubleshoot lab systems, both hardware and software.
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Preferred Experience:
- Level 2 or better at soldering.
- Inventory SOR knowledge.
- Basic electronics knowledge.
- Basic Microsoft product experience.
- PC build knowledge.
- Basic shooting skills.
Education:
BA Degree
