Logistics and Support Technician III

Duration- 3 Months+

This job assignment focuses on providing specialized support for networking product lab. 

Receive new systems, record required information in tracking system, prepping the platform for delivery, physical process of moving systems from pallets to team storage room, preparing and conducing lab platform upgrades Board upgrade, processor upgrade, etc., and providing field platform failure analysis/debug and implementation of appropriate fix.

Technical Skills:

  • PC hardware and software interoperability including Technical skill to assemble and debug.
  • Moderate knowledge of test equipment set-up. (Oscilloscopes, Lab Power Supplies, etc.)
  • Moderate understanding of 32-bit or 64-bit architecture and knowledge of server functionality.
  • Demonstrated PC troubleshooting/debug skills with an emphasis on repair.
  • Must be able to work independently and be self-motivated.

Other Skills:

  • Proven customer interfacing skills, including strong - Verbal and written communication.
  • Must have the ability to lift 40 pounds.
  • Knowledge of inventory system is extremely helpful but not a requirement.
  • Soldering exposure is helpful for this role.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiar with Shipping Memo or Inventory Control System
  • HS diploma or GED equivalent required for US candidates.
