Marketing Operations Specialist

THE ROLE:

We are looking for candidates to expand the Regional Marketing Operations Team. As a member of the team, you will be working in a global, fast changing environment. You will be responsible for supporting internal teams in all aspects of marketing funding operations – submitting marketing plans, initiating purchase orders, analyzing proofs of execution and support invoicing and claiming.

THE PERSON:

As a member of the Regional Marketing Operations team, the candidate will be working in a global, fast changing environment. The incumbent needs to exhibit the ability to move and adapt quickly to changing needs, lead multiple initiatives, and engage at all levels both inside and with partners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

PO Creation Process

  • Verify completeness of PO documentation and work with PO requestors and/or customers/vendors on any missing supporting document.
  • Submit PO requests on behalf of sales/marketing team.
  • Act as primary point of contact for all reservation issues and requests from reservation and compliance team.
  • Resolve reservation issues or requests directly with customers or by liaising with internal and external requestors.
  • Communicate approved reservation IDs to sales and marketing teams and generate Program Documents to deliver to partners.

Claiming Process

  • Act as primary point of contact for all claiming issues and requests from worldwide Claiming and Compliance Team.
  • Help resolve claiming issues and requests directly or by liaising with customer and/or sales and marketing teams.
  • Maintain overview of unclaimed reservations and help ensure that claims are submitted prior to claim closure.

Tracking and Reporting

  • Maintain consolidated overview of reservations per region and segment, including pending reservation issues.
  • Monitor and report on reservation linearity during the quarter.
  • Maintain consolidated overview of POPs collected and their FMV.
  • Provide execution report and ROI metrics for QBR support.
  • Maintain consolidated overview of claims and/or maintain a repository of claims according to local regulations.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-3 years of related working experience
  • Fluent in English; other languages are an added advantage
  • Great attention to details and strong analytics skills
  • Proven ability to work in a demanding, fast paced environment managing multiple programs at one time.
  • Very strong PowerPoint, and Excel skills, experience working with MS Teams and other collaboration applications.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Degree in Marketing, business management or equivalent professional qualification
