Network Planning Engineering - Cleared Contractor - L3

Duration: 12 Months

Understand the fundamentals of IP Routing

• Understand what happens in detail from point A to point B in networking and able to explain it

• Good with at least one other protocol knowledge

• Supporting MPLS, BGP (Experience from Tmobile, Lumen, Verizon)

• 5+ years of network engineering experience with IP networks or, a 4-year Bachelor of Science degree with 3+ years relevant experience with IP networks

Nice-To- Haves (Hard Skills)

• Large Fortune 500 experience

• VPN experience

• Experience with analysis and capacity planning and network architecture for large distributed communications systems

• Ability to plan, implement, verify and troubleshoot local and wide-area enterprise networks.

Degree/Certification Preferences

CCNA

Experience configuring MPLS, ISIS, QoS, BGP, VPLS, AS prepending, route policies, and in-depth BGP troubleshooting and configuring (Route-leaking, BGP attributes (local preference and community’s)
