Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Duration: 6 Months

Pay Rate: $80/Hr on W2 ($3200 weekly)

As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients, performing nuclear medicine procedures, and ensuring radiation safety. You will work closely with our team of physicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient care.

Duties:

  • Performs diagnostic Nuclear Medicine imaging. 
  • Prepares and positions patients for procedures; ensures patient modesty, confidentiality, and privacy. 
  • Prepares and reviews images and documentation to ensure quality for diagnostic purposes prior to assigning for reading. 
  • Receives and follows directives and instruction from radiologists, referring and supervising physicians, manager and director to properly perform the position function.
  • Administers radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures
  • Processes data and enhancing digital images using advanced computer technology.
  • Providing images, data analysis and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures.
  • Evaluates images to determine the technical quality and calibration of instrumentation.
  • Provides diagnostic aid to physicians by conducting organ or body scans on patients.
  • Administers and records isotope dosage in accordance to established departmental protocol.
