Occupational Therapists

Duration: 3 Months

Pay Rate: $55/hr on W2.

Occupational therapists evaluate and treat people who have injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. They help clients meet goals to develop, recover, improve, and maintain skills needed for daily living and working. Assess patients' abilities, tailor programs to restore physical function, and devise ways to help those with permanent limitations carry out everyday functions.

Duties

  • Be a part of an interdisciplinary care team, specifically collaborating with ABA, speech therapy, and mental health services to plan and implement effective programs for young kids, including co-treatments with the speech therapy team.
  • Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties (ABA, speech, psychology)
  • Develop interventions for young clients to support client gross motor skills, fine motor skills, feeding, and other activities of daily living.
  • Applies appropriate application of age specific standards, policies and procedures and guidelines in caring for patients.
  • Coordinates and supervises staff.
  • Coordinates with interdisciplinary team on patient needs, treatment modifications, and progress.

Job Qualification

  •  Must possess the necessary certification and valid license(s) to operate as an Occupational Therapist..
  • Current license to practice as a Occupational Therapist
  • Minimum one to two years’ experience in a hospital setting.
