Oracle Cloud Transformation Project Manager

We are looking for an Oracle Cloud Transformation – Project Manager with experience in managing and coordinating an Oracle Cloud Transformation Project. This role will report into the Senior Program Manager. This Oracle transformation project includes conversion of data from source systems to the Oracle cloud environment, consolidating disparate General ledgers into the Oracle cloud environment, the building of integrations between legacy and cloud (edge) systems and Oracle Cloud Fusion, and the building of reports. In addition, the setup of the Oracle cloud environment includes the end-to-end processes and configuration of Oracle to Cash, Requisition to Pay, Projects to Result, Acquire to Retire, Plan to Perform (EPM), and Tax.
The Project Manager is a critical role that partners with various IT teams and business partners, works with our System Integrator on maintaining a project plan, tracks progress and drives tasks through completion, assists in managing risks and issues through resolution. Assists with onboarding and creates documents for presentation at the request of Sr. Program Manager, as well as assisting with project administrative/budgeting tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Understand, Analyze and create/modify project plans
• Understand and Analyze/Assess project task dependencies, milestones, and predecessors
• Manage resource onboarding and offboarding
• Manage and provide input on Risks, Issues, Actions and Decisions
• Monitor various Project Management processes (change requests, escalations, etc.) to ensure they are progressing
• Create documents for presentation to program leaders
• Assist senior project manager and program leads with clerical and other tasks as requested
• Monitor various project management processes (Change Requests, escalations, etc.) to ensure progress and resolutions
• Communicate project implementation options that affect cost, schedule, and risk to stakeholders as well as other recommendations
• Assist Sr. Program Manager with creating documents for presentation
• Assist IT Leads with updating the IT project plans – including Conversions, Reporting and Integrations
Qualifications:
• 2 to 3 years of experience managing or coordinating large complex implementation projects
• 1 to 2 years of experience managing or coordinating ERP migration projects
• Ability to manage many simultaneous project tasks and schedules, with varying complexity, while wearing multiple hats to drive issues to resolution
• Able to work with business users and IT teams to understand requirements, technical designs, and other technical documents. Create project plans from these and drive task execution to completion with appropriate reporting and escalation as necessary
• Knowledge of software development life cycles
• Some finance background
• Demonstrated decision-making, prioritization and organizational skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation and conflict resolution skills
• Expertise with MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint and Jira
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
