Performance Tester / QA Engineer

• Technical/Functional Skills
• Should have experience in Performance testing using load-testing tools such as Load Runner, Performance Center.
• Create Performance testing scripts using various protocols like Web (HTTP/HTML), Web services, Click and script & AJAX True Client Firefox.
• Experienced in doing workload model.
• Write and prepare technical performance test plans.
• Develop data driven test automation scripts and execute performance and load testing.
• Use Load Runner (or other similar tools) to design and execute load and performance tests against Web applications, web services and SQL Server
• Experience with Silk Performer & JMeter.
• Working knowledge of Automated Test and Test Management Tools (e.g., HP ALM).
• Design and execute daily load BVTs as well as larger, system level tests.
• Prepare data for execution.
• Analyze data gathered from performance tests.
• Report findings and log defects.
• Inform the test lead/management of any issues that may affect the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process.
• Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously and produce high quality products.
• Ability to create reusable performance test scripts.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills demonstrated by the ability to assimilate new information, understand complex topics, and arrive at sound analysis and judgment.
