Program Coordinator

Contract: 12 Months+

Client embedded business unit is looking for a strong program coordinator for the R&D operation’s team.

R&D operations include all aspects OpEx and CapEx planning and attainment, labor headcount planning and tracking, long-range and annual operational planning, inventory management, hardware planning and management, build and test reference systems, and shipping/receiving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and test development APU/GPU/CPU reference boards prior to sending for customers, ensuring all software/firmware components are current.
  • Manage development system inventory, including managing inventory locations, tracking location of all inventory and keeping inventory database up-to-date, delivering inventory when required, generating monthly reports, and helping to audit current inventory.
  • Help plan and execute process for receiving customer orders for development hardware and shipping hardware to customer.
  • Perform shipping and receiving for R&D team, keeping detailed logs and generating reports as required.
  • Consolidate new product hardware orders and orders from customers and enter them into our order management system.
  • Help support the engineering labs.
  • Work with Program Managers and Director to meet required timelines and commitments.

Preferred Experience:

  • Strong program coordinator skills including familiarity with Microsoft products; Outlook, SharePoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
  • Familiarity with basic computer software and hardware operation, installing software and ability to perform minor debug.
  • Ability to solder is a plus.
  • Must be able to lift 50-pounds.
  • Self-starter that looks to create and enhance processes to improve overall team efficiency.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent skills of managing up with right set of data/reports to executives for visibility and decision making.

Academic Credentials:

  • Associate degree with 5+ years of overall corporate experience (experience in BU engineering operations role will be a big plus).
