Project Coordinator
Duration: 12 Months+
Summary: The coordinator ensures that no resources are being allocated to unnecessary tasks and that all aspects of the project are completed as quickly as possible.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establishes and assembles project teams, and coordinates activities.
- Develops detailed work plans, project estimates, status reports, project tracking and analysis.
- Performs economic and other analysis as required to achieve the best least cost.
- Manages critical milestones throughout the project to ensure the best customer experience.
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Ability to keep information organised and confidential.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training required.
- Devices team- forecasting, ability to complete purchases, making sure teams have the devices they need.
- Basic purchasing operations- guided buying process (quotes from vendors…)
- Making sure the data is correct, (Project codes, accounting) ATTENTION TO DETAIL
- Make sure the PO will spend appropriately.
- End-of-quarter activities (maintenance for forecasting)
- Accruals process
- Forecasting may be done via a spreadsheet.
- SFM tool (spend forecast tool)
- Working between finance and business teams
Top 3 must-have HARD skills:
- Attention to detail, writing skills (frequently explaining)
- Forecasting (accounting knowledge would be helpful)
- Spreadsheets, pivots, vlookups,
Good to have skills:
- Work across XFN (help determine how teams will need to work together)
- Take issues and run with them for the engineering managers
