Job Description:

Looking for an Oracle Cloud Migration Technical Project Manager with experience in leading the design and implementation of conversion and integration protocols (Oracle ERP/EPM and 3rd party systems) from on-prem to the Oracle Fusion cloud.
Reporting into a Director of IT, the Oracle Cloud Migration Technical Project Manager is a critical role that partners with various IT teams and business partners to support and help transform finance.

Qualifications:

* Acted as PM for at least 3 previous Oracle Financials Cloud migration projects
• 10 to 12 years of experience managing the implementation of Oracle migration projects between Oracle on-prem, Oracle cloud ERP and EPM and other 3rd party systems (on prem and cloud)
• Ability to manage many simultaneous project tasks and schedules, with varying complexity, while wearing multiple hats to drive issues to resolution
• Ability to manage multiple aggressive sprint cycles, with a number of different types of conversion/integrations having to be coded in a short amount of time
• Able to work with business users and IT teams to understand requirements, technical designs, and other technical documents.

Create project plans from these and drive task execution to completion with appropriate reporting and escalation as necessary
• Knowledge of software development life cycles, web technologies, and web development processes
• Demonstrated decision-making, prioritization and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, facilitation and conflict resolution skills
• Expertise with MS Project, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

Responsibilities:

Act as Project Manager for a workstream of the Oracle Cloud transition project
• Manage a complex project, schedule and drive all tasks to completion
• Create dashboards and Status Reports highlighting key accomplishments, issues, and risks for escalation
• Communicate project implementation options that affect cost, schedule, and risk to stakeholders as well as other recommendations based on these elements
• Drive the execution of the end-to-end build of each data conversion/integration to/from various source systems to/from Oracle Cloud, including on-prem and other SaaS applications
• The Ideal candidate should have a proven record of successfully analysing all aspects of a project and consistently delivering with minimal guidance
• Work closely with the Enterprise Architecture team on all key decisions and on-going work
• Manage technical delivery resources supporting the conversion, integration, development, testing, and deployment activities in both onshore and offshore models
• Work with various infrastructure teams and Security to ensure proper security frameworks are in place for the integration applications and tools used
