Real Estate Paralegal

Duration: 4+ Months

  • Your duties will include:
  • Managing Real Estate contract inflow from Citizens’ procurement group.
  • Creating initial drafts of form agreements and other documents for review by attorneys.
  • Formatting, proofreading, and assisting with the review of documents.
  • Updating and maintaining Real Estate contract templates.
  • Interfacing with the real estate group and other departments to collect information, respond to requests, and manage workflow.
  • Working daily with internal systems (e.g., Ariba) and other technology to complete tasks.
  • Performing other duties for attorneys, including scheduling meetings, distributing information, and managing routine correspondence.
  • Providing general administrative support to attorneys and assisting on special projects and initiatives.

  • Excellent word processing skills including the ability to properly format complex contracts (including, but not limited to, multi-level lists (auto-numbering), Tables of Contents, multiple Sections within the same contract, Excel formulas, etc.).
  • Experience working on real estate transactions, required.
  • Experience redlining contracts and properly maintaining version control.
  • Experience working with Ariba (or other contract management software) preferred but not required.
  • Experience conducting database searches and generating reports

Qualifications:

  • Education/Professional Credentials:
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Minimum 5 years as a Paralegal in a corporate or law firm environment.
  • A Paralegal degree or certification is a plus but is not required.
