Real Estate Paralegal
Duration: 4+ Months
- Your duties will include:
- Managing Real Estate contract inflow from Citizens’ procurement group.
- Creating initial drafts of form agreements and other documents for review by attorneys.
- Formatting, proofreading, and assisting with the review of documents.
- Updating and maintaining Real Estate contract templates.
- Interfacing with the real estate group and other departments to collect information, respond to requests, and manage workflow.
- Working daily with internal systems (e.g., Ariba) and other technology to complete tasks.
- Performing other duties for attorneys, including scheduling meetings, distributing information, and managing routine correspondence.
- Providing general administrative support to attorneys and assisting on special projects and initiatives.

- Excellent word processing skills including the ability to properly format complex contracts (including, but not limited to, multi-level lists (auto-numbering), Tables of Contents, multiple Sections within the same contract, Excel formulas, etc.).
- Experience working on real estate transactions, required.
- Experience redlining contracts and properly maintaining version control.
- Experience working with Ariba (or other contract management software) preferred but not required.
- Experience conducting database searches and generating reports
Qualifications:
- Education/Professional Credentials:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Minimum 5 years as a Paralegal in a corporate or law firm environment.
- A Paralegal degree or certification is a plus but is not required.
