RN - Infusion / Infusion Cancer
Duration: 3 Months
Pay Rate: $80/hr on W2
The Infusion Nurse provides primary patient care for specifically assigned patients to include assessments, care planning, evaluation and education of patients receiving infusion therapy and/or other nursing services in accordance with the care matrices and best practices in the home or alternate site setting.
Responsibilities
- Provide the majority, if not all of the direct care for all specifically assigned patients including initiation and maintenance of all communications with appropriate care team members
- Evaluate and education patient/care partner to safely administer the home infusion therapy.
- Evaluate the home environment where the care is to be provided and identify interventions that may be required.
- Develop, in conjunction with other clinical team members, each patients Care Map and evaluate patient’s response to therapy.
- Appropriately discharge primary patients and complete discharge summary
- Develop and maintain caseload scheduling and communications.
- Document patient visit to physician or lab drawing station on calendar.
Job Qualification
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse
- Minimum one to two years’ experience in a hospital setting.
Languages:

- Two years of experience in particular department required
- BLS/BCLS/ACLS certification required
- NYS RN license and registration
