RN Ambulatory

Duration: 3 Months

Pay Rate: $65/hr on W2.

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. The RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.

Responsibilities

Utilize best practice to provide age specific pediatric care during the pre-op, intra-op and post-op period.

Evaluate patient's responses to treatments and interventions.

Complete paperwork and patient charting as needed.

Demonstrates positive and effective interpersonal skills when dealing with patients/families, peers, and other health care team members.

Utilize technology to track, document, and report patient care.

Communication with patients, parents, client offices, and a variety of healthcare professionals

Medical review of patient records for clearance

Regional travel to onsite office for delivery of patient care

Job Qualification

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.

Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse

Minimum one to two years’ experience in a hospital setting.

Languages:     

English (Read Write Speak)

All applicants must have:

- Bachelors/Associate Degree in Nursing required

- Two years of experience in particular department required

- BLS/BCLS/ACLS certification required

- NYS RN license and registration
