RN ICU
Duration: 3 Months
Pay Rate: $78/hr on W2
As a Critical Care RN, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs, administer treatments, and ensure effective communication among medical staff. This Full-Time RN role requires quick thinking, strong decision-making abilities, and a commitment to delivering patient-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Perform initial patient assessments and triage according to acuity levels.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments.
- Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Assist in emergency medical procedures as needed.
- Provide education to patients and families about their conditions and treatments.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Maintains current knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the patient and his/her clinical condition.
- Follows the seven (7) medication rights and reduces the potential for medication errors.
- Prepares, hangs, monitors and discontinues IV fluids with aseptic technique.
Job Qualification
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse
- Minimum one to two years’ experience in a hospital setting.
Languages:
- English (Read Write Speak)

- Two years of experience in particular department required
- BLS/BCLS/ACLS certification required
- NYS RN license and registration
