Sales Support Consultant

Duration: 06+ Months

This job will include a lot of handling of excel spreadsheets, scrubbing census, and emails (both externally and internally). EXCEL and professional business writing skills are a must. Experience in Health Insurance and Salesforce preferred.

The Sale Support Consultant will help with supporting overall new business quoting for commercial health customers working in concert with field sales/service. He/ She’s primary responsibilities will include review and processing of RFPs (proposal requests). This person will also include being able to articulate a value proposition with Sales Executives and Account Managers and working together to position new business proposals. Additionally, being able to multi-task to accomplish workload efficiently and by coordinating with sales and underwriting to ensure timeliness and quality of proposals and managing multiple prospects and sales support activities at various stages of the sales process by following established set processes. Follows up with underwriter, brokers/plan sponsors if additional information is needed to submit the case in a timely manner.

Experience: Required      

  • Must be proficient in excel
  • Health Insurance background preferred but not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required

Experience Required: 01-02 Years.
