Senior Network Engineer/Architect

Duration: 6 Months.

Looking for a senior network engineer with enterprise large scale network architecture experience. The person will be working with the full-time network team and act as a subject matter expert related to network infrastructure. The person must have effective communication skills and be able to drive discussion and be willing to make recommendations and provide a new perspective, while also understanding and listening to other perspectives.  With the goal in mind to deliver the best solution to a modern design or the path to resolution of an existing issue.

In this role you will often be asked to be a primary point of contact to the clinical team at times and represent the infrastructure team as an extension of our staff. You will be scheduling and attending meetings, driving discussions to ensure clarification on next steps, document project milestones and due dates.  Continual follow up with other staff throughout the week to ensure alignment of their efforts with the milestones and adjust/communicate as needed. May also be asked to present status of projects in PowerPoint and other formats as needed.

This person must have extensive hands-on experience in designing, supporting, and configuring enterprise networking (Cisco Nexus 9000), Data center networking, Point to point WAN (Wide Area Network), OSPF, BGP, Cisco DNAC, Checkpoint firewalls, Cisco Meraki, Cisco VPN, Cisco Wireless, Network security (I.e., segmentation, ISE (Identity Services Engine)), etc.  Strongly preferred CCIE certification equivalent certifications.   We are looking for someone who can take on multiple projects at one time with large enterprise infrastructure experience.   Someone who can quickly adapt, is self-driven, and can bring themselves up to speed regarding the current architecture.  After-hours planned work and escalation for support will be required.  Strong leadership skills and communication skills.  Must be able to show compassion and empathy throughout the day.

This position is based out of Philadelphia, PA, but a remote only option will be considered.  Preference would be offered to those with the ability to attend local meetings at times on a limited basis at one of our Philadelphia locations.
