Please note: This position has the possibility to work remotely up to 100% of the time. The position will require occasional travel to the Phoenix corporate offices and/or site locations.

Description:

Under general supervision, manage team, provide analytical leadership and support to Category Managers, Sites and GSC Management for the CP 3.0 (Collaborative Planning) / Shutdown Initiative, and the utilization of different data gathering/management tools and total cost of ownership techniques to improve and optimize category management and Global Supply Chain processes.

Management and support of Global CP 3.0 Shutdown Process

  • Lead data gathering and management.
  • CP 3.0 systems development and support
  • Interdependence of site and supplier management
  • Site support (3 models)
  • Manage team of analyst and guide and direct work to meet performance objectives and deadlines.

Data Analysis

  • Run the data, reporting for both Category Planning and Vendor Management as needed including CE, HVV, Pricing Review, Negotiations, Usage and Performance
  • Scorecards and working with the Vendor Management team to make the process efficient and valuable.
  • Work in conjunction with the vendor management team to ensure / audit that vendors are in adherence and compliance to the contract terms and pricing.
  • Assist GSC Category Management Director as well as other GSC Leadership on additional work which may require analytical expertise.
  • Perform Market Research in conjunction with the Category Planning team in support and development of the strategic plans with focuses on: Indices, Market Trends, Industry movement (M&A, etc.), Supplier research and World Events (proactive / reactive)
  • Develop project presentations to Management that clearly communicate results of analysis. Provide periodic reporting on core commodities and services and ad-hoc analysis.
  • May be given responsibility for managing 1-2 regional categories in a vendor management type role.
  • Perform other duties as requested.

Qualifications: Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED and ten (10) years combined experience in inventory management, system & project management and analysis projects required, OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline and six (6) years combined experience in inventory management, system & project management and analysis projects required, OR
  • Master’s degree in business, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related discipline and four (4) years combined experience in inventory management, system & project management and analysis projects required.

 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to identify / analyze priorities.
  • Strong organization, record keeping, reporting and data analytic skills.
  • Ability to train / instruct others effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to develop and maintain relationships with various areas of the organization.
  • Demonstrate strong collaboration skills (listening, interpreting, empathizing, challenging)
  • Significant experience in managing multiple $5M+ categories in the Mining, Industrial, Heavy Manufacturing, etc. industries.
  • Ability to develop and implement Should-cost modeling for multiple categories including the development of the models and the maintenance of the variation triggers.
  • System and GSC Process capabilities and proficiencies: CAS, SAP, Commercial T&C’s, Power BI, Business Objects / EDW, strong use of Access and Excel with Pivots
  • Experience presenting to leadership.
