Solution Architect (Automation)

Desription :

The Automation Enablement Center is seeking a Technical Solution Architect with strong engineering and system design experience to contribute toward the success of our automation solutions. Researches, models, and integrates business and technology architectures to align with business strategy, goals and objectives; defines and recommends appropriate tools and approach. Investigates new technologies and tools (including vendor solutions); evaluating associated risks. Creates architectural principles to support business goals. Consults with business line managers and IT professionals to develop IT frameworks that support business applications. Understands and models key business capabilities, processes, relationships, and impact of technology on business goals. Formulates conceptual architectures, creates architectural blueprints as documentation of design and systems integration and communicates architectural vision, goals and design objectives to multiple audiences. Consults with IT and business management regarding use of specific technologies and associated services. Ensures projects are designed within approved enterprise architectural standards and are implemented successfully. Coordinates communication to management and teams regarding project development, strategy and goals. Coach and mentor teams in technical use

Experience : 8+ years of related experience
 

Responsibilities:
Design and develop programs that conduct automatic tests on new and existent software. They also use guidelines to develop programs and write automation scripts. Designing and developing test automation scripts. Using test automation guidelines. design, program, simulate and test automated machinery and processes in order to complete exact tasks. Researching issues in software through testing. Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions.

Skills:

- Thorough knowledge of development languages, solution design, application and infrastructure planning/design
- Experience with automation suites (Automation Anywhere, WorkFusion, UIPath, etc)
- Advanced technical (application development/programming), logical, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Considerable knowledge in system integration and business process modeling
- Thorough understanding of the enterprise architectural blueprint requirements and the impact on business functions
- Excellent planning and organizational skills with focus on producing quality results
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and strategic thinking with understanding of upstream/downstream impacts
