Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Model A Requirements: Architectural Policies and Reviews
  • Ability to clearly define, document, socialize and help apply Architectural Guidance for AppDev Teams.
  • This will include Guiding Principles, Viewpoints/Leans, Standards and Best Practices, Policies, etc.
  • Ability to document emerging Application Architecture Patterns and assist AppDev Teams with their adoption.
  • Conduct Conceptual Architecture and Logical Architecture Reviews.
  • Identify new and emerging Patterns for Pattern Library inclusion.
  • Model ‘B’ Requirements: Architect Practitioner.
  • These requirements are important if we decide to adopt the Embedded Architect model.
  • Define, Document (diagram) and Justify Solution Design Architectures with an emphasis on High Availability, Resiliency, Omnichannel Design (foster composability, re-use), DR Capable, Future Extensible and optimized Cost Management.
