Sr Hadoop Administrator

Duration: 9 Months

Contract to Hire

Required Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience with Hadoop
• 5 years of Unix/ Linux admin activities related to Hadoop platform
• 3-5 years of Spark and Hive
• Knowledge and understanding of operating systems across various IT environments
• Problem Solving and Analytical skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong technical skill set specific to data analysis and handling
• Ability to prioritize and manage competing projects
• Adaptable to change in evolving industry
• Demonstrated capabilities with HDFS, Hive, and other cluster services
• Demonstrated capabilities in a Hadoop ecosystem including SAS, Tableau, generic ODBC/JDBC, etc.
• Scripting & Automation a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Informatica connecting to Hadoop
• SAS Connecting to Hadoop
• RStudio connecting into CDP
• Kafka, Python, Informatica (as related to Hadoop)
• Healthcare Industry experience
• mySQL database experience
• Hadoop platform related certifications
• GCP or other cloud certification
• Experience with CDP 7+
• CDP Upgrade Experience
