The Role:

The Staff Pricing Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting pricing and contract operations between Client and strategic accounts/partners. The Staff Operations Specialist builds and sustains strong relationships at operational and managerial levels within the Business Unit, Legal, Finance, and Sales organizations. They leverage these relationships to manage expectations, improve processes, enforce compliance, and resolve operational issues.

 

The Person:

  • The qualified candidate has demonstrated experience with implementing, facilitating, and improving business processes.
  • This person will quickly understand sophisticated pricing and funding structures and is able to translate that information into actionable analytics for the teams they support. In addition, this person is a proactive problem solver who is self-sufficient, able to self-manage their work, and takes initiative to drive results.
  • They possess strong interpersonal communication skills and can build collaborative relationships across all levels of the business.

 

Key Responsibilities

Pricing & Funding Support:

  • Develop strategic relationships with the Client Business Development teams to facilitate business opportunities.
  • Address pricing and funding inquiries, evaluate their financial impact, and drive alignment across key stakeholders in the Business Unit, Sales, Legal, Finance, and other organizations.
  • Collaborate cross functionally to prevent issues; investigate and recommend solutions for customer escalations.
  • Provide operational support for strategy changes, contract negotiations, and financial models.
  • Provide fast service levels to minimize risk and maximize AMD/customer success.
  • Collaborate to drive process improvement, minimize touchpoints, and document processes.
  • Manage pricing/funding operations calendar and assist in the coordination of weekly decision forums, quarterly pricing reviews, and executive communication.

 

Reports & Data:

  • Summarize data into actionable reporting for executive leadership on a regular cadence.
  • Record and measure business KPIs; compile pricing/funding analytics and other operational metrics to facilitate decision making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline operations and implement efficiencies.

Academic Credentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or Business Operations
