System Validation Engineer III

Skills Required:

• The ideal candidate will have the following skills in addition to the qualifications listed above.
• Must have experience in doing a systematic debug of performance, power, and/or thermal related silicon issues and system level issues.
• Must be a team player, with a demonstrated experience technically influencing others.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• 3 plus years of experience with software development on server-side software.
• 3 plus years of experience with debugging and testing.
• 1 plus years of experience and understanding of Linux.
• 1 plus years of experience with software optimization and performance profiling tools.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Python, benchmark, and workload content.
• Familiarity with hardware such as NI DAQ, InTEC thermal controllers, and thermal heads.
• Familiarity with VTune, Linux Perf tools.
• Familiarity with hardware debug using software tools, EMONs, trace-based captures.

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 4 years of industry work experience, or
• Master’s degree in electrical or computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus 3 years of industry work experience, or

PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related field plus related experience
